I hate when the lose the rest of the post.. this had writing in it and lots more photos.. but I will need to redo it all again.. so watch for pretty in the garden round two.. but for now.. do you like to have things in the garden that are there to add color or texture that is just for the pretty, not because its functional for growing?

Absolutely! I love surprises around every corner…bird houses, dream catchers, a few small appropriate statues, odd items with flowers growing out of them…I even kinda dig it when the kids stash targets for paintball games.
Every year I have grown some cosmos flowers in or near my veggie garden. They grow so tall and l love how they gently bob in the breeze. Love the colours, too!
