Is there anyway to feel more like coming home then making fresh Saskatoon Pie?
Here is a good starter Saskatoon Pie filling Recipe

I had to look up saskatoon berries…never heard of them before….then I realized it’s what we call serviceberries/sarvisberries. They make the most delicious jelly!
Hi Andrea
Thanks for that info, I didn’t realize that they had a different name in your country, they do indeed make the best syrup and jelly!, Do you have them at your place?
Im from Edmonton, Alberta today my son and I enjoyed our river valley trails the longest trail system in North America. We picked 10 cups of Saskatoon berries for pie. In fall we will pick cranberries for jelly.
