I’m learning forward on the pats, what a good boy, and he is listening to every word š
Getting much more comfortable with him, we are learning about each other, I am learning his cue’s better, he is learning mine, I am trying to do one ride on the farm, just working basic’s and building our connection and then one ride off the farm, working on him being willing to leave brandy and trust in the ride with me. We road down the “other way” today and road to the end of the road..
Its like learning to dance with a new partner.. I like him, more and more!

I know you love Brandy but love is not always enough to make a good working partnership. You and Samwell seem to go together naturally. š š Keep riding! I’m very envious and wish like crazy that I could do the same!
thanks Glo, I don’t know if where reading the blog when I got samwell, but as much as I am enjoying him and I really am, Samwell was gotten for my mom and dad and they will be coming for him in the spring, so while he is a huge part of my world and my riding at this time, Brandy is mine, she was my 40th birthday gift from my wonderful hubby, Sam on the other hand is a temp but loved guest on the farm.
