Snow and Cold Wind Chills..

It offical, I am ready for winter to end! I know, I know, its not going to end till its good and ready and its been a good winter really, we had good weather up until Dec and really we have only “had” winter for about six weeks, but today as the wind blows hard enough to sneak in under my full head gear, and string my cheeks and ears, and pushes into me as I walk, make me want to curl up in bed with a good book, a big bowl of soup and huge pot of pepperment tea in teapot cosy to keep it warm..

Ha, like that’s going to happen LOL, the only good thing is when you are as tired and worn as I feel these days, when I do get to rest, Its deep and hard. I got a few hours off the farm last night at my little knitting gathering, and it was wonderful to be able to knit and visit by the wood stove, and catch up on the news and to share. Sometimes its so nice to just be the women folks gathered together.

I’m with you on that, indeed it has been a “good” winter albeit I’m waiting ever so patiently for the warm weather to arrive. Now days I get excited when it hits 40 degrees, it feels almost balmy compared to what we’ve been dealing with in NJ! LOL

    • I know just what you mean, suddenly if its only -20, its not bad, and if it hits the teens without a wind chill, it seems warm 🙂

The swear that we are going to hit plus 1 on sunday, and if they are right, I know that it will be a big workout day trying to get ahead of things with the better weather to do it in..
