Ok, this photo was taken by me, and then played with in a program, I love it, I can see myself getting this made into a little 5 by 7 and framed for a certain spot in the house.. so I am going to do my “painting print first” and then below it, will be the photo that I took raw 🙂
and if you are wondering how this is farm related, well its not, but life related for sure, its important to get off the farm and into the local woods, this is something that we try and do in all season’s and I have always considered it a blessing that we are so close to so much bush land but it really hit home for me this when I was reading a favorite blog of mine, she was talking about the fact that there is no other, no wild anything in her area of the country down in the states, as we took a little country drive, I would see crops, with large area’s of wild in stripes around them, I would see tree lines around the fields, and then there are bush and creeks and more wood lots and maple tree lots, I didn’t realize until she started talking about it, that I say things like, go to the ditch line and look for x or y or z.. even in the cities and towns around me, I can find free wild food, even when I lived in the highest artic above the tree line, when the time of year was right, there was wild food for the picking, harvesting etc
So is it really any surprise that I spent a bit of time on the weekend just looking at the amazing bounty and beauty around me both on the farm and in my local neck of the woods.
