Is that a Green Heron in your photo?
Around 1/2 the size – maybe even less – of a regular Crane (Great Blue Heron, sorry; ) and they are so beautiful, when you catch their plumage in the right light.
No, scratch that, I can see he/she’s the full-sized model; )
