While I have had lots of practise teaching caleb to move in for me to dismount, we have a bad habit of bringing the mounting block to the horse and so we are working on training him to come to the block, the ditch, the stump, or whatever I want him to line up with..

I guided him in a number of times and then I started letting him figure it out, away, moving feet, in place and relax, pats and chill..
