Wow! Look at that variety! What breed are these?
They are mutts, a mix of the four or five most commonly seen meat rabbits in my area, the dad is a fifth gen of my own keep backs, and the doe for this litter is new, and she was sold a “meat breed type doe 6 months in age” I got her for 5 dollars at the spring local bird sale..I have asked the older gentleman for more info before but he speaks almost no English, which is still more French then I know. lol
I got a doe of his breeding nine years ago, I always buy plain colored as they go for cheap, knowing they will throw color.
Wow, what a mix. I didn’t know rabbits could have stripes and spots both.
Okay, so you’ve got three black & white, two butterscotch and two white with (beige dapple?)
They’re SO silky looking! (Love the markings on the little one with black ears and wide stripe up it’s back: )
two black broken, with the black back line with spots, two orange and white broken( mainly spots) on black trimed white with back dots and two orange and grey solids, they are all fat and very healthy looking at this time, never seen anything like the orange/grey ones, very new to me, can’t wait to watch them grow out, they are like a grey orange calio but no white..
Do these look similar to yours?http://www.noahhunt.org/Animals/BabyBunnies.html
nope, asked on my rabbit group, its called a “tan pattern” but it does not need to be tan, so the top/backs are orange, the trims and undersides are grey, we will see how it grows out..
or it could be this black tortice coloring, can’t get them photos at the moment..
