What did you have for lunch today?

I had a mix of greens, drizzled with a homemade garlic and black olive oil dressing, with fresh red pepper, diced apple, spiced pork pieces with a tiny sprinkle of herbed dried and grated sheep milk cheese.. Heavenly!

  1. Can you tell that we got out Green/Fresh food box for the month yesterday.. Apples, pears, kiwi, banana’s and yet more mango, onions, carrots, potatos and mushrooms o my! Brocolli and fresh peppers of all colors..

    Sounds delicious! I had left over chicken livers (cooked in soya sauce with minced onions and garlic) on rice (cooked in leftover chicken stock) and romaine lettuce… Monkey, not being interested in chicken livers yet, had the left over chicken drumstick with rice and salad. Yummy… happy tums all around.

    Not sure if I can post this (feel free to remove if it contrevenes the rules)… but we get terrific chickens from Hilltop Acres Poultry in Breslau – they are a family operation running with hormone-free, free run chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese. Unless you are raising your own or buying from an operation like Hilltop, one forgets what healthy foodstock looks like.
