LOVE the detail on her shell’s “ruffled” edge – oh, and hey! never noticed that before – the line dividing her shell in half – really AWESOME picture!! 😀
She is doing so well now, she eats well and is active and seems very healthy and strong. I think her markings are so pretty..
How big is she? Could you put a quarter on her back or a key for comparison.
Hmmm, One Sec.. I just measured her out and she is 2 inches wide by 2 inches long, when she was rescued out of our little pond last year in the dought when the water dried up and the tadpoles were all dying and DH moved them all into tank set ups so that they would have the requirements to grow up to be lots and lots of toads for our land, he found this little tiny turtle the size of a loonie with legs.. So she has doubled in size since then..
By measurements, I meant her shell, not including legs, head or tail..
