They can get good size on the farm, typically them come in the cooler temps and in the fall rains back behind the big barn. I will point out that you should only use these lovely mushrooms if they are in good condition, they should be a pure white inside, don’t use them if they have any hint of yellow or greenish hues, they are to far gone. I love to fry mine up till they are golden on outside.

But they are still nice and white on the inside..
