Weigh in Week 10/11

One of my fruits for my March Challange, as I am currently eating out of my house, I took some wonderful frozen strawberries from my garden and mixed it with a jar of homecanned pinnaple, with juice and cooked into a nice fruit compot.

Well, this week didn’t do anything in terms of weight, I did nothing.. At least I did get a bit more active in terms of doing a little weight lifting, I was able to get a number of dancing sessions in to break a sweat, and did a fair bit of extra farm work which all helps.

Goals for the past week..

  • No eating after 8 6 out of 7 days -Yes
  • 3 walks this week -NO, as in none.. the weather is bad and the roads/trails are ice covered, I can’t risk another fall.. did in house dancing instead.
  • Start some weight workouts this week -Light but yes.
  • No Seconds this week at meals -Most meals but soups I had seconds.
  • Sprout more greens and use them this week. -Yes, and more fruit.

Goals for this coming week.

  • Replace one meal with a smoothie
  • One snack only per day
  • No Eating after Eight
  • No seconds period
  • Do one thing per day that breaks a sweat

I want a loss for next week!!!!!!!!!

Wow…you have some really hard-core goals for this week. I must confess: if I didn’t allow myself a couple snacks and occasional seconds, I’d curl up and die. I plan snacks into my meal plan each day. Everyday. Yesterday I had chopped up veggies with Tzaziki (spelling???) dip mid-day and a breakfast bar after dinner. Not a lot of calories, but it did a lot to sustain me through the day.

Here’s a question…do you eat yogurt??? My mom swears that when she stops losing weight, yogurt gets her going again. It’s all in the digestion, I guess.

    • Hi Andrea

I know and I could not go for long without more then one snack a day (by snack I mean fruit or cake/cookies etc) I am always allowed low cal fresh plain veggies. Normally I allow myself second’s on soup etc, and if I am truly hungry an hour or two after eating, low cal veggie soup will end up my go to food for sure.

I do eat yogurt, I can certainly start eating more, I am currently making it with fresh sheep milk, and that is very healthy but its not in any way low cal.. Sheep milk is very rich, I guess I could crack out my stored skim milk powder and make up some lower calorie yogurt.

Thank you so much for the idea to try..

Not going in any direction, is sure better than going up.

    What dancing are you doing?

    • True better to stay the same then go up..

As for the dancing, its just freestyle to my favorite music, it was just about being able to get out and get those legs in use. Sound like you had lots of fun dancing yourself 🙂 I did get Hubby to do a few jives with me on the weekend when the right song came on the radio.
