Half your life you struggle
Half your life you fly
Half your life makin’ trouble
Half your life makin’ it right
One day I’m the exception
Most days I’m just like most
Some days I’m headed in the right direction
And some days I ain’t even close
I’m a little bit steady but still little bit rollin’ stone
I’m a little bit heaven but still a little bit flesh-and-bone
Little found, little don’t-know-where-I-am
I’m a little bit holy water but still a little bit burning man
Burning man yeah
I always loved the highway
I just don’t run it as fast
I still go wherever the wind blows me
But I always find my way back
I still don’t get it right sometimes
I just don’t get it as wrong
I still go a little bit crazy sometimes
Yeah, but now I don’t stay near as long
I’m a little bit steady but still little bit rollin’ stone
I’m a little bit heaven but still a little bit flesh-and-bone
Little found, little don’t-know-where-I-am
I’m a little bit holy water but still a little bit burning man
Burning man
Still just a burn, burn, burning man
Just a burning man, uh
Maybe I’ll go to the desert
Find myself in the Joshua Tree
If we pass in the night then just hand me a light
And tell me you burned just like me
I’m a little bit steady but still little bit rollin’ stone
I’m a little bit heaven but still a little bit flesh-and-bone
Little found, little don’t-know-where-I-am
I’m a little bit holy water but still a little bit burning man
Burning man
Still just a burn, burn, burning man
Just a burning man
Uh uh
Burning man
This song speaks to me in so many ways!
I am very excited to announce that thanks to a dear friend who is going to come farm sit for us. Dear Hubby and I for the first time in 19 years and what will be 15 years on the farm are planning both a off-farm holiday TOGETHER which we are declaring our belated honeymoon..
We will being going on our Honeymoon on the year of our 20 years anniversary.
We have so many things up in the air yet but we know it will be after the gardens are in and in the late spring/early summer 2019. We know that we want to go some place that we have never been before! We are planning on staying in Canada
So much excitement in the figuring and planning, so much to do to get ready for our big “Road Trip 2019”
We are maybe thinking east coast nova scotia, have you been? if so where must you go? we are more nature, trails, water, fossils, old mines, geological type things then we are city, fine dining or museums.
I would definatly go to Nova Scotia. I had the pleasure of living there for 10 yrs. There is so much history there and places to see all with in a few hrs drive or a little more. There is Peggy’s Cove , the Titanic graveyard, the maritime museum, Citaldel Hill in Halifax, you can visit the Blue Nose in Lunenburg if it is in harbour, As well as the places where the telephone was invented and the light bulb invented. Nova Scotia is so beautiful and soo much to see. Lots of things to do . I could ramble on and on, Check it out online.
Thanks Karyn for the nod to Nova Scotia, I had a aunt that lived there for a number of years and she very much liked it and talked highly about it as well
I will check it out for sure 🙂
Clearly, the most important thing to do in NS… is visit us.
LOL, if we go to NS, I promise we will be asking and planning to come visit you guys 🙂
Hmm… it said video unavailable, so here’s another (that did work for me; )
Dierks Bentley, Burning Man: https://youtu.be/2hp7Lotbmgs
Huh, not sure why it would not work for you deb, I even checked it on the phone to make sure it would load and run.. thanks for the extra link.
May have simply been temporarily unavailable? Either way, no worries
Well, it’s about time! Congrats & ENJOY yourselves: )
LOL.. we are certainly planning to do just that.. sometimes good things take time 🙂
I would add The Annapolis Valley for agriculture AND historical stuff. Oh, and Cape Breton Island: https://www.cbisland.com
I have been reading up on NS and I love the sounds of the Cabot trail big time!
I can’t in all good conscience speak only about Nova Scotia. Prince Edward Island is a magical place to visit and also has a wonderful series of Trails all around the island. No need to mention their most famous “citizen”, is there?; ) but that iconic red sandstone/soil not only grows amazing potatoes, it also makes a marvellous pottery clay. But hey, don’t be fooled, there’s also an incredible, massive white sandy beach at Cavendish. All four corners of the Island are each so very different: )
True but we will have limited time so I know we will only be doing one island on trip if we go..
No worries! Put it on your list; )
True but we will have limited time so I know we will only be doing one island on trip if we go.. but red beaches do sound amazing
EMEGHERD!!!!! About time! 😀 … what a wonderful treat. 😀
LOL.. ya.. its time 🙂
