I was a good girl.. no costs this month went out..
I did plant out pepper seeds and Brussel Sprout seeds for early starts so that by the end of 2017, we will have a lovely harvest of these 🙂
Jan imputes: Sprouts -2 trays per day.. organic mixed sprouts each tray is slightly bigger then the tray at the store at 3.99 each.. so that’s 8 dollars per day in sprouts

D > Is the photo of the sprouts taken just recently? From what I can see either you were picking in autumn or you’ve got them under cover! Looks a good yield from the plant. I’m confused by the fact that it’s horizontal: have you pulled the plant out of the ground to harvest? We pick sprouts from the bottom up, encouraging those further up to develop and grow?
Hi, No this photo is not recent, just that I need to start the plants now in order to get a good harvest for them in late Oct-Nov my time.. they must be started in the next four week at a min to get them up and then into the greenhouse before planting them out around May 21st. It was a good yield per plant, and yes, I normally do stake them so they are up and down, but these where planted in a certain bed as extra’s and they were mainly planted in there to act as the “shade” plant, so I didn’t force them upright, so they went sideways on me.. got a very good yield despite it.
