So many things in bloom or forming fruit, its awesome.. Take a little walk with me while I check things out..
Mulberries are loaded this year.. I tend to eat these fresh sun warmed but also they make a awesome pie!
My High Bush Cranberry on the farm are finally! going to bloom and start producing, will still get most of my crops from my wild pick but thrilled to see that my own patch will add to the bounty this year.
This post refuses to work so I am going to post what I have and try again..

Nice looking bushes!
Very nice! I’ll be planting raspberries, strawberries, and rhubarb this year, assuming I can still find them once we move. If not they’ll all get planted next spring. I was just over at your Canning Log page and marvel and oooohed and ahhhhed there for a little bit. (Left a comment there too)
What’s your current count?
Here is my current counts for the year so far.. I want to do more drying this year, so I am not sure how to count that, because one dried pint jar of rhubarb is eqaul to about 4 pint jars of rhubarb fruit or so.. I am also planning on making alot more wine/vinagers this year plus a far amount of dried meat, not just canned..

I read before about your highberry cranberries and thought them an interesting shrub. Never thought they would grow in my own garden! When I saw your picture I reckognised immediately their flowers. Over here they are called Guelder rose, after Gelderland, the Dutch province where I live. So I have something new to eat from the garden. Thank you!
Hi Heidi,
Thats awesome, I know that I have the jelly recipe on the blog site if you use the search button, but if you can’t find it, let me know, if you can let them frost, it will sweeten them but if you can’t do that, pick them ripe and then freeze them in the freezer before processing them, and warning, once you have the juice ready to make your jelly or syrup, its smells while you are making it and not in a good way.. in fact, you will wonder what the heck.. really this is going to taste like cranberries.. just keep cooking it.. its wonderful done but its not one of those, smells heavenly right from the start 🙂
