Love how the chocolate icing layer turned out, the colors were good, but the swirls are a work in progres, still it was so exciting to get to cut into this, each bar was its own..

The top photo almost looks like a pan of brownies!
I’ve never tried layering soap before. Do you use the cold process or hot process method?
The base white/cream soap was cold process, and then it was remelted and color added, allowed to cool just a bit, and then poured, allow the colors to hold evenly, if I can not tried to use the swirl method, I woud have had pretty clean yellow/green/orange and dark chocolate layers instead of what I got. I would recommend working two layers first before you start with multi..
If you are using freshly done cold soap, you can pour them at trace into different bowls, color and spoon drop glops into the pan in layers of color and allow to dry and it will give you some amazing different effects depending on what you choose to do.. I did spend a far bit of time with a wooden skewers to make that brownie effect, but you can only work it so long while cooling, I really liked it..
O and the green was from nettles, the orange was from turnmac and the brown is coco so all the colors were done O natural.. I have to admit that I might break down and order in some of the natural colored clays but for now, i am having way to much fun finding the colors in my food cupboards.
I intend to grow a few different plants this year for colorings..
