A possable, maybe lead has been found, we will see what comes of it.. but for now.. everybody just say ….. Awe….. so cute!! Check the comment section of this post for a short video of the pony with brandy in the background, the size difference is really kinda funny..

So cute and tiny! …….. must dwarf in comparison to Brandy!
You see a lot of free horses on Craigslist round here at this time of year as people find they just cant afford to put them through the winter. I wonder if he was “lost” on purpose? And yes, he’s very cute and if you were close by I’d be very tempted to offer to look after a completely useless critter and spend lots of money on him!
Y’know, with the price of hay, you might just be right. Wow, and I thought dumping off pregnant cats was low! Hmm, now that my cynic switch is turned on, wondering if the fellow who was “looking” for the owners might actually be the one who dropped him off?
(He is a very cute ‘n fuzzy little creature: ) but what does one do with a mini horse/pony anyway?
Well, he is kinda like a toy dog of the horse world in my mind, he thinks he’s horse LOL, I don’t know, I know that folks like them as they can have a horse that eats alot less, poo’s alot less and is easy to handle, I have seen lots of them pulling little tiny carts with one or two peaple in them, and I have been to horse shows where they do music free style dancing with them, but from a truly practical part, a mini is so small that only a very young child could ride them and only for a short time before they outgrew them.. now a pony, that’s diffence a good size welsh pony can be used as a small working horse, riding and pulling a cart etc..
We will just have to wait and see in regard to the finding of a owner, time will give the answer..
Oh FarmGal! He is so cute… The sheep look amused. How are Brandy and Gal enjoying the addition?
I find it so funny that I can post my utbue video’s in the comments but I have to pay for a upgrade if I want to do in the main site.. o well, here is a short cute one for you.. don’t you just love the size difference between them..
Very cute… and all graze peacefully…
What a cutie!
Cutie and Houdini. first somehow she got out of the small sheep fenced pasture I put her in for outside time and ended up in my side yard, so I put her into the big dog pen next to the house with hay and fresh water..
Then… “wow. so “pony” is in the big dog pen next to the house, it has a window you can open and close on ground level that the dogs can jump in and out of on the stairwell to hang outside, so I openned the window to pet the pony and just laughed a little when he put his head in, not so funny when in came the whole front half, as I yelped for help from Dh, as we together caught him as he came the rest of the way though and set him down on the stairs and then I started to laugh while I got the dirty look from my hubby, but come on, I was just trying to be nice and pet the horse, i didn’t think he would come though the doggy door! He did the stairs like a champ and seemed more upset about being put back out of the house and into the pen again.. Its a trick pony! LOL”
Haha!
An indoor horse? Perhaps that’s how he escaped in the first place – out the doggy door…
Well, I don’t know about that but we just found and fixed the whole section of where he had taken out the sheep fencing, thank goodness for big panels of chainlink fencing that could just be slapped up and tied into place until we can replace the section, but after what he did to it, the sheep could have just walked though the hole, never seen anything like it.. clealy will have to be put into very secure pen when outside for fresh air/sun etc.
Just call him “Tank”; )
LOL! You DID say he was “kinda like a toy dog of the horse world”… More than you knew, hay?; )
Got that right, I never would have thought a horse would do that.. Crazy little guy ” Pony, says, I’m not crazy, my mother had me tested” LOL
