Farmgal’s Chit-Chat Vlogs “Test”

Dang its hard to figure out a new name that ideally will stick around for a awhile. One of my new projects for the coming year is to do short once a week vlogs..

I can see that this will take some practice and planning to get better at but hey that part of the fun right!

On with the show, let me know how I did on my first test one, I know I need to do better on lighting and not having the fan go round. its harder then you think to do a straight no edit 3 to 5 minute talk. I can see why it will be important to edit at times but I also like the truth in a single take.

I admit I didn’t watch the Vlog, but I urge you to continue blogging as well. It is hard for me to make time to watch a video, but I can more easily make time for a read. Thank you for all the great information you are sharing!

  2. Congratulations on your first video! I look forward to hearing more, especially about the rain/storm gardens and extending the growing seasons, both topics I need to learn more about.

    • Thanks so much Morris Brook Farm. I am totally surprised at just how well how the first start of the rain garden worked this fall, I could see parts in action and it was just amazing to me, I can’t wait to get to the next stages and see how it will perform once finished.

I know it would be more work, but interspersing pictures or videos about what you are talking about would help increase interest and understanding. I think the length is good, it’s hard to get people watch videos that are long. – Margy
